Dorothea Lange

"One should really use the camera as though
tomorrow you'd be stricken blind."

During the Depression Ms. Lange was contracted as a government photographer for the Farm Security Administration she took endless criticism for being too picky about the way her photos were developed (she wasn't allowed to print them herself). She also took amazing photos of the Japanese Internment camps in the forties.
